Community and Sport Update
We are thrilled to announce the selection of our talented students for the touch football, swimming, soccer, and cross country teams! Your dedication, hard work, and passion for your sports have truly shone through, earning you a well-deserved spot on these teams.
Kiani Miller represented St Benedict’s at the Polding Swimming Carnival in Sydney this week for the 50m Backstroke. We are sure she did her best in Sydney and can’t wait to hear how she went.
For our touch football stars, Allira Weet, Scarlett Hunter and Archer Guihot attended Regional trials this week at Maitland touch fields. We congratulate all three students for making it through to the Diocesan Trials held later next term in May.
At soccer Axel Ferguson and Archer Guihot represented St Benedict’s and the Lakes Region at the Diocesan Soccer Trials at Speer Point. Congratulations to Archer who made the Diocesan team and will head to the Polding trials next.
To our Cross Country runners, your endurance, determination, and perseverance are truly inspiring. Running long distances requires not only physical strength but also mental toughness, and you have demonstrated both. Congratulations to the following students who will attend the Diocesan Cross Country early next term and best of luck!
